I never made a diaper cake before. I still haven’t. They seemed like they would be fun, but alas, I never had anyone to make one for. Then PTB’s little sister got pregnant. YAY! A baby shower to be involved in planning now that I understood babies! She had her theme picked out. Breakfast at Tiffany’s. I went crazy with planning. Pinterest is a godsend. Then I came across this. When I found out she was having a boy, I had to do it!
We have officially officially started solids! B LOVES to eat! I can’t tell you the number of people that have asked me about poop when I tell them we are using cloth diapers. In the beginning, there was absolutely nothing to think about. The boy only had breast milk for the first 6 months of his life. Just toss it in the pail, easy enough. But food! Oh my. Now he poops. Like, for real.
From the very start I have been a huge fan of my Thirsties Duo Wrap covers. I’ve paired them mainly with pre-folds for unstoppable diapers since about day 5. I didn’t start with cloth wipes, and I have to admit, while PTB is hesitant, I am leaning closer and closer to it each day. I’ve spent $40 on wipes so far. We have most of a case in the closet still…but I am already washing diapers, why not wash the wipes too. I entered this giveaway to give it a try. If you are thinking about cloth diapering, winning some freebies can’t hurt right? There are a ton of ways to enter, so go there now! They are giving away a Thirsties Fab Wipes 6pk, a Thirsties Deluxe Diaper Duffle, and a Thirsties Deluxe Pail Liner!
It has begun. Early Sunday morning, I went to Ben’s crib to find him on his belly and grunting. I’m used to our early morning/late night wake up. What I wasn’t ready for was finding a wet baby.
