Last week I set some goals. I figure Wednesdays to be the best days to look at these goals, see how I did and reassess. Why Wednesday? Why not? It gives me the weekend, plus a fresh start on Monday to try and redeem myself. It’s halfway through the week and I am looking forward to setting some new goals.
So let’s see how I did.
Last Week’s Goals
I will set an alarm and get up at the same time everyday. I will no longer use the little man as my human alarm clock. I will use my elliptical at least once a week. (start with achievable goals right?) I will do yoga or pilates at least once a week. (I need some zen time) I will have a glass of wine at least once a week. (Seriously, I need zen time at least twice a week right?)
How I did
- I set an alarm. I don’t remember hearing it most days. I did wake up with it twice maybe?
- I did not use the elliptical. But PTB did 🙂 We’re making progress as a team.
- I did no yoga or pilates. Ben is cracking up when I dance though, so I got a few mini-workouts in.
- No wine. I don’t have any in the house. I had two drinks over the weekend. Half Pom juice half skinny girl margarita
This Week’s Goals
- Use the freaking elliptical
- One non-elliptical workout
- Buy a sewing machine
- Truly start my Etsy store!
This week will be tough with the holiday weekend. We’re going to the shore, so I lose some days. I really need to get going with some extra income, even if it is just a tiny bit here or there. It’s been suggested I sell my macarons. Maybe I need to make a batch and take them to the local chocolate shop… Hopefully once I get some things made, and Etsy store will take off and help us pay for a nanny.
Ugh… speaking of nannies… I was hoping to do a nanny share and split with a neighbor. Interviewed girls, had one picked out, wanted to schedule second interview… neighbor backed out. Great. That changes the budget.
