When I sit back and think about all the machines, big and small, I rely on to operate, it’s a bit scary. I’m having some thread tension issues with the sewing machine, and I feel a bit useless. I can’t take it in during the week because of work. I can’t go in the evening because of B. I can’t take it on Sunday because they are closed. That leaves Saturday. We’ve had few and far between available for activity.
I know it is something I MUST be doing wrong. Unless I just straight up broke my machine :-/ It still works. Just not the way I want it to. But luckily next Saturday morning seems to be empty so far. So we’ll take a drive and hopefully I’ll come home with resolution. And some learning so that this doesn’t happen again.
In the meantime, I can still be pretty productive. I have all that fabric to finish the edges on (with the serger), pre-wash (with the washer), and press (with the iron). I’ll be blogging (with the computer), taking product shots (with the camera), and tweeting and promoting like crazy (with the phone).
My frustration is calmed by the list of things I need to do. Thankfully, the pre-orders for organizers will keep my busy busy cutting and ironing and organizing for the next week and I won’t even feel the need to touch the sewing machine.
